2011

Winner of the Small Business Award (sponsored by Turner Peachey, Chartered Accountants): Plant i Ltd

Judges noted a growing portfolio of customers and a reputation for innovative solutions, an impressive growth rate, strong leadership and inclusion of all the team in the decision-making process. Runners-up – Gloversure, Welshpool; and Skye Instruments, Llandrindod Wells.

 

2010

Winner of the Innovation Award (Sponsored by Welsh Assembly Government): Plant i Ltd

With fuel prices escalating every fleet operator is endeavouring to save costs. Plant-i’s lateral thinking approach to this problem has resulted in the development of a ground breaking telemetry system that extracts live data from vehicles which enables operators to maximise their efficient usage. The Judges noted that the Plant -i products were already being used by an increasing number of large corporate entities and that the technology was making a significant contribution to the environment by reducing CO2 output. As if this was not enough the Judges were further impressed by the company’s continuing programme of imaginative development of related technologies.

This years awards were launched on 22nd May 2012, entries close Friday 6th July 2012 and the Awards Dinner will be held Friday 28th Sept 2012 at Theatr Hafren, Newtown.
