Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Services
We are delighted to announce that we have been selected to supply telemetry to Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Services.
Plant-i were able to tick all boxes required to fulfil the needs of the Fire Service.
We will be working closely with the department to ensure that they have bespoke software which will enable the vehicles to be accurately followed in the event of emergency.
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service serves a resident population of 1.104 million divided amongst the five constituent councils of Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland in the North East of England.
The area covered by the Service covers an area of 538 square kilometres and borders with Counties of Durham to the south and Northumberland to the north. By road, Tyne & Wear is around 451 km north from London and 175 km south from Edinburgh.
With this in mind it is vital that a robust telematics solution is in place so that all data both historically and live is extremely reliable and can be accessed at the click of a button.
We are now entering its 12 year in business are extremely confident that we will create a robust solution to assist the emergency services.
